Zaman la ni ramai org yg bawak kereta. Tapi, majoriti yg jadi pemandu kereta ni kurang arif pasai kereta masing2.
Bila kurang arif menyebabkan mudah kena tipu dek mekanik 'kaki kapak'. Dan, bila kurang arif jugak menyebabkan adakalanya produk yg kita beli utk kereta kita sebenaqnya tak sesuai digunakan.
Teringat drjoe satu cerita. Ada sorang kwn ni abg ipar dia mmg jenis kedekut la. Suka sgt nak 'berjimat'. Dia pegang konsep #1 harga mesti murah, #2 kualiti.
Nak dijadikan cerita, satu ketika tu dia pi beli minyak enjin 4L kat sebuah hipermarket. Brand apakenanama ntah la. Harga mmg murah sgt la berbanding yg branded. Jadi, dia pun boh kat enjin kereta dia.
Tak sampai seminggu enjin kereta dia jadi semput, takdak power. Bila hantaq pi kedai pomen check tgk enjin dia dah 'kong' nak kena overhaul. Lepaih tu baru dia tau rupa2nya minyak enjin dia beli tu walaupun murah tapi kualiti mmg teramat rendah. Nak jimat sikit saja menyebabkan dia kena keluaq beratus ringgit pulak.

betoi tu. toksah dok kedekut. sampai masa tukaq saja minyak enjin.
sampai masa jugak kena buat maintenance kereta ikut jadual maintenance.
ada org tu time baru beli saja dia rajin ikut jadual pi buat servicing, tapi bila dah habih warranty dia pun jarang2 dah pi buat servicing. kita kena ikut jadual dia. tukar apa2 yg patut supaya kereta dlm tip-top condition. _________________ drjoe_ngang

Minyak enjin dipanggil jugak minyak hitam. Fungsi dia sebagai pelincir kepada pergerakan piston dalam kebuk enjin. Tiap minyak enjin ada gred dia yang mewakili kepekatan ( viscosity) sesuai dengan enjin tersebut, tahap pemanduan dan tahap ketahanan panas, sebab lagi lama dan lagi laju kita pecut, bertamabah laju pergerakan piston dalam kebuk. Kalau tak kena gred tu yang dia jem. Selalunya di Malaysia cari la yang tahap kelikatan dia SAE 20 W- 50. Setiap 5000KM perjalanan atau 3 bulan mana lebih dulu hendaklah tukag minyak hitam dan tukag sekali Oil Filter dia. Brand ada macam-macam. Shell Helix. Castrol. Samlube.
ada orang dia suka polish sampai ke taya dia gosok menghelit. buka bonet belemoih. takpa lagi kalu takat belemoih, tapi kalau minyak itam, ayag radiaotor dan belting system tak rajin perosah, ada chan sadai tepi jalan. Silap haribulan kena towing.
